Soccer Recap: Donegal Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northern Lebanon on Thursday, Donegal came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the Palmyra Cougars by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Donegal couldn't quite close it out.

Donegal's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Palmyra, they moved to 5-8-1 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Donegal will square off against Eastern Lebanon County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palmyra, they will challenge Bishop McDevitt at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
