The Knappa Loggers will head out to challenge the Clatskanie Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Knappa's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Gervais as they made off with a 15-0 win.

Taylor Pass was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lily Simpson and Mylie Lempea did most of the damage at the plate: Simpson went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI, while Lempea went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Lempea has posted since back in March. Kiya Roe was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Knappa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .808. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Clatskanie had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They blew past the Loggers 19-0. The Tigers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.
Knappa has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Clatskanie, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Knappa took their victory against Clatskanie when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 20-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Loggers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
