Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Tuesday.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Lexington by a score of 15-6 later that day.
