Volleyball Recap: Caliche Falls Despite Big Games from Hallie Lewis and Hayden Walker + How To Watch

Caliche lost against Wiggins back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Buffaloes fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 24-26, 25-11.

Caliche's loss came despite strong showings from Hayden Walker and Hallie Lewis. Walker had ten digs, while Lewis had 13 digs, ten kills, and one block. Lewis has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last five times she's played.

Caliche's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Wiggins, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Caliche wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Dolores on the 18th. As for Wiggins, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Alamosa on the 18th.
