Soccer Game Preview: Honoka'a vs. Kamehameha Hawai'i

Honoka'a hasn't had much luck against Kamehameha Hawai'i recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Honoka'a Dragons will square off against the Kamehameha Hawai'i Warriors at 3:00 p.m.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Honoka'a turned things around against Konawaena last Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Dragons' first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Kamehameha Hawai'i faced Hawaii Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Friday. Kamehameha Hawai'i's defense stepped up to hand Hawaii Prep a 2-0 shutout. Give the Warriors' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Honoka'a's draw makes their record 0-4-1 this season. As for Kamehameha Hawai'i, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Honoka'a might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Kamehameha Hawai'i when the teams last played back in January. Can Honoka'a avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
