Basketball Recap: Portage Christian Takes a Loss

Portage Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt an 82-47 defeat at the hands of the Grace Christian Academy Crusaders. Portage Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-18.

Portage Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grace Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Portage Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wheeler at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Grace Christian Academy and DeLand-Weldon will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
