Softball Recap: Palmer Takes a Loss

Palmer lost against Monson back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 13-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palmer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Holbrook, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Monson, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-7 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palmer will face off against Southwick Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monson, they will challenge South Hadley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
