Volleyball Recap: Guardian Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Guardian Christian Academy lost against The New Community School on October 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royal Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabers. While the Royal Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Sabers 25-19 in the first set.

Guardian Christian Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

This is the second loss in a row for Guardian Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 10-14. As for The New Community School, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-11.

Guardian Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against The Carmel School on the 24th. The New Community School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
