Volleyball Recap: Aucilla Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Aucilla Christian entered their tilt with Riverside Christian on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wranglers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aucilla Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverside Christian between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-16.

Avery Emerick paced Aucilla Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Emerick got some help from Leighton Faglie and her 19 assists. Finally, Faglie was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Aucilla Christian's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Riverside Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aucilla Christian will challenge Wakulla at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Redeemer Christian at 6:00 p.m.
