Basketball Recap: Kake Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Kake won the last time they faced Hydaburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Kake Thunderbirds walked away with a 33-25 win over the Hydaburg Warriors.

Kake has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points on average over those games. Hydaburg is on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Kake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 34-32 loss against Skagway on the 1st. Hydaburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
