If Hamilton Heights Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 91-26 takedown of Boyd-Buchanan on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hawks came up short against Varsity Opponent on Monday, falling 86-65. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Varsity Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kamora Moore, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine assists. Another player making a difference was Danica Lazic, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 13 points.

As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-25 loss against Winston Salem Christian National on the 24th.
