Football Recap: Olmsted Falls Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Olmsted Falls's offense. They had to suffer through a 28-0 loss at the hands of the Avon Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the loss, Olmsted Falls broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2. As for Avon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Olmsted Falls and Avon should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Bulldogs will challenge Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 202). Meanwhile, Avon (ranked eighth) will meet Berea-Midpark (ranked 122nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
