Softball Preview: Hermann Bearcats vs. Sullivan Eagles

Hermann is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mark Twain.
Allison Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Molly Scheer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Even though they lost, Hermann didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with nine strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mark Twain only tossed five.
Meanwhile, Sullivan made easy work of Pacific on Thursday and carried off an 11-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.
Hermann's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sullivan, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
