Volleyball Game Preview: Foreman Hornets vs. Prosser Falcons

The Foreman Hornets will head out to challenge the Prosser Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Foreman is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Lycee Francais de Chicago just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lycee Francais de Chicago. The shutout was out of character for the Hornets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

While Foreman ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Prosser hadn't done well against Lake View recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Falcons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since April 21st.

Prosser had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Foreman's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Prosser, their record is now 8-14.

Foreman couldn't quite get it done against Prosser in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
