Andover found a leader in Alex Kostecka as the squad took down Osseo on Friday. Kostecka produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Kostecka and Andover will be playing at home against Coon Rapids at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long.
