Softball Recap: Homer Victorious

The Homer Pelicans beat the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers 6-3 on Tuesday.

Homer's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coming up, Homer will face off against Plain Dealing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67 runs per game on average), something the Pelicans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jonesboro-Hodge, they will head out to take on Saline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
