Brayden Keithley commands the offense for Yellow Jackets win

Recap: Morristown Yellow Jackets vs. Southwestern Spartans

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Morristown Yellow Jackets had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took down the Spartans 65-51. The win was just what Morristown needed coming off of a 66-39 defeat in their prior match.

Morristown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayden Keithley out in front who scored 15 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Keithley scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Snyder, who scored 16 points.

Morristown's win bumped their record up to 5-18. As for Southwestern, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Morristown's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oldenburg Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Hopefully Morristown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. Southwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
