Soccer Game Preview: Bentonville vs. Northside

The Bentonville Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Northside Grizzlies at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bentonville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Northside better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Bentonville really gets things going. Bentonville was the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Rogers on Thursday. Considering the Tigers have won four games by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Northside was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Rogers Heritage could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Northside's draw makes their record 1-2-1 this season. As for Bentonville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Bentonville was able to grind out a solid win over Northside when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bentonville since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
