Soccer Recap: Trinity Episcopal Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Grace Christian School

There's no place like home for Trinity Episcopal, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Grace Christian School Kings 2-1 on Saturday. Trinity Episcopal wouldn't have won without Mary Mac Starke, who scored the game-winner.

Trinity Episcopal was without their leading scorer, Gabby Sauvigne, in Saturday's matchup. With Sauvigne sitting this one out, Amy Phillips got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 60).

With the victory, Trinity Episcopal broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6-2. As for Grace Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Trinity Episcopal wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Virginia Episcopal School on the 12th. As for Grace Christian School, they will square off against The Carmel School at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
