Softball Recap: West Rusk Takes a Loss

West Rusk came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Arp Tigers, falling 16-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

West Rusk's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Arp, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-4 record this season.

West Rusk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arp, they will challenge Troup at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Arp has won six straight at home, while Troup won 17 straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
