Basketball Recap: Natoma Takes a Loss

Natoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs, falling 55-24. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.

Kelden Rubottom was Natoma's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Colton Prowse held things down on the boards with five rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Natoma's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Sylvan-Lucas, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Natoma and Stockton will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Sylvan-Lucas, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Otis-Bison at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
