Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain Vista). They really took it to the Ponderosa Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 96-33 victory. With the Golden Eagles ahead 55-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Kennedy Spellman was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 42 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave her a new career-high. Kiarra Spellman was another key player, going 9 for 16 en route to 24 points.

Mountain Vista was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ponderosa only racked up six assists.

Ponderosa lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jenni Sorvillo, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Laney Webb, who posted eight points.

Mountain Vista is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.4 points per game. As for Ponderosa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
