Basketball Recap: Ellsworth's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Ellsworth was the 62-47 winner over Amery when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ellsworth Panthers fell 43-31 to the Amery Warriors on Tuesday. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ellsworth's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4. As for Amery, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ellsworth Panthers duke it out with the New Richmond Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Amery, they will welcome Unity at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Amery is facing Unity at the right time seeing as Unity is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
