Preview: DeForest Norskies vs. La Crosse Central Riverhawks
The DeForest Norskies will be home for the holidays to greet the La Crosse Central Riverhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
DeForest has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a serious blow against Oregon on Tuesday, falling 65-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points DeForest has scored all season.
Meanwhile, La Crosse Central came up short against Aquinas on Tuesday and fell 59-47. While losing is never fun, La Crosse Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Aquinas is ranked 51st).
DeForest's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for La Crosse Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
