Football Recap: Baraboo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Baraboo lost against La Crosse Logan back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunderbirds had to suffer through a 49-7 loss at the hands of the Rangers. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Rangers are ranked 83rd).

PEYTON POKER threw for 60 yards on eight of 21 attempts. ETHAN HUELSEMANN was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Baraboo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for La Crosse Logan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Baraboo will face off against Sparta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.38 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for La Crosse Logan, they will take on Holmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings' defense has only allowed 11.5 points per game this season, so the Rangers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
