Guy Longenberger put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
