Basketball Recap: St. John-Vianney Piles Up the Points Against Neptune

There's no place like home for St. John-Vianney, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Neptune Scarlet Fliers for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-44 win. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 29 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Neptune still got an impressive performance from Christa Ramos, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points. Ramos is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Bre Evans, who posted 12 points.

St. John-Vianney pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.3 points. As for Neptune, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

St. John-Vianney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Neptune, they will square off against Shore Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
