Softball Recap: South Fulton Takes a Loss

South Fulton managed to slip by Hickman County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. South Fulton came up short against Hickman County on Monday, falling 14-1. The Red Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

South Fulton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Lee, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave Lee a new career-high.

South Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hickman County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Fulton will take on Carlisle County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carlisle County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.8 runs per game on average), something South Fulton will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hickman County, they will face off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
