Hampton lost to Johnson County back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 36-20 victory over the Longhorns. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Johnson County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Wilson, who picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Wilson showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 53 yards. Johnson County also got help from Jonathan 'Jack' Csillag, who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.

Hampton's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Johnson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
