Volleyball Recap: Atlantic's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Atlantic had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Deerfield Beach Bucks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Deerfield Beach saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jadden Perdomo had 13 digs and six assists. Perdomo has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times he's played. Zeryc Chalmers was another key player, getting 17 assists and six digs.

Atlantic's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Deerfield Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Atlantic has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Coral Springs on the 1st. Deerfield Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
