Winslow's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Holbrook 9-0. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Kyah Wilcox made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylie Sharp, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Kendra Ybarra was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
Winslow was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are 9-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Empire made easy work of Morenci on Friday and carried off an 11-1 win. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
Angelina Dehler was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Peace, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Empire pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Winslow, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Winslow hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .457. However, it's not like Empire struggles in that department as they've averaged .424. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
