Football Preview: Sherman Tide vs. Mount View Golden Knights
Sherman hasn't had much luck against Mount View recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Sherman Tide will take on the Mount View Golden Knights at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Sherman focused on turnovers this week as the team gave up four last Saturday.
Sherman will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12 points on September 6th, then bounced right back against Pocahontas County last Saturday. Sherman enjoyed a cozy 34-20 victory over Pocahontas County.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Mount View brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They claimed a resounding 35-8 win over Bland County at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Knights as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Sherman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mount View, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
