Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

If Marshall was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lincoln last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barristers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taft Toreadors on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Barristers in their meetings with the Toreadors: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 21-25, 25-16.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Taft, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Marshall nor Taft have any future games scheduled.
