Vista del Lago's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Bella Vista Broncos. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Alayna Piexoto looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Addison McCulloch, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Hayhurst, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Vista del Lago's record now sits at 8-10. As for Bella Vista, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vista del Lago will square off against Christian Brothers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bella Vista, they will take on Ponderosa at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight.
