Basketball Game Preview: Fort Bend Kempner Cougars vs. Warren Easton Fighting Eagles

The Fort Bend Kempner Cougars and the Warren Easton Fighting Eagles will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Fort Bend Kempner will be strutting in after a victory while Warren Easton will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Fort Bend Kempner didn't have too much trouble with Carver Collegiate Academy as they won 48-34. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 539th in Texas, while the Rams are ranked 195th in Louisiana).

Meanwhile, Warren Easton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 72-52 to Worthing. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Fighting Eagles have suffered since November 19th.

The victory got Fort Bend Kempner back to even at 9-9. As for Warren Easton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
