Recap: Aspermont Hornets vs. Paint Creek Pirates

The Aspermont Hornets's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-20 win over Paint Creek on the road. With Aspermont ahead 36-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Aspermont was led to victory by Seth Johnson and Jaxon Hodges. Hodges hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Broshears, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aspermont will take on Lueders-Avoca at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lueders-Avoca is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. Paint Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rotan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
