Lindbergh is 8-2 against Kirkwood since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Flyers will head out to take on the Pioneers at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lindbergh will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Wednesday, then bounced right back against Timberland on Saturday. The Flyers blew past the T-Wolves 5-1. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Kirkwood ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They beat Christian Brothers by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Kirkwood were the better team in the second half.

Kirkwood's record is now 5-3. As for Lindbergh, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Lindbergh beat Kirkwood 3-1 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
