Lake Forest Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Francis W. Parker Colonels by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Caxys, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lake Forest Academy easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-9.

Lake Forest Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Francis W. Parker, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
