Soccer Recap: Lynnwood Takes a Loss

Lynnwood was the 2-1 winner over Meadowdale when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Lynnwood have lost by just one goal.

Lynnwood's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Meadowdale, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynnwood will face off against rival Shorecrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Meadowdale is set to take on their familiar foe Edmonds-Woodway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
