Zephyr is a perfect 4-0 against Santa Anna since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Zephyr's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

In Friday's Canine Competition, Zephyr didn't have enough. They were outmatched by Strawn and fell 86-38. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Anna). They claimed a resounding 50-0 win over Priddy. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mountaineers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Zephyr fell to 4-1. As for Santa Anna, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Zephyr against Santa Anna in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-20 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
