Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 44-21 to the Booker T. Washington Magnet Yellow Jackets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-21 back in December of 2024.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Booker T. Washington Magnet, their victory ended an 18-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-15.

While Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
