Big Spring entered their tilt with James Buchanan on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Rockets 18-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their one-run performance the game before.

Hannah Darhower was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Victoria Rinaldi was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Big Spring always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as James Buchanan only posted an OBP of .353.

Big Spring's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.7 runs over those games.
