Stewart County is 8-2 against Baker County since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Stewart County Royal Knights will be playing at home against the Baker County Bears at 6:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, Stewart County ended up a good deal behind Terrell County and lost 64-46. The loss continues a trend for the Royal Knights in their matchups with the Greenwave: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Baker County was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Sherwood Christian Academy. One positive for the Bears, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Baker County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Stewart County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything came up roses for Stewart County against Baker County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-22 win. Will Stewart County repeat their success, or does Baker County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
