Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hannibal). They never let the Fulton Hornets get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Hannibal as it spelled an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Hannibal's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-15-1. As for Fulton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Hannibal will head out to challenge Warrenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hannibal will need to watch out since Warrenton have now posted at least four goals in their last five matches. As for Fulton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Moberly at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton's defense better be ready for this one: Moberly have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season.
