If Plattsmouth wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wahoo, they should've done a better job of containing Gretchen Seagren. The Wahoo Warriors walked away with a 47-38 win over the Plattsmouth Blue Devils on Thursday thanks in part to Seagren, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Erin Golladay, who scored nine points and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of Wahoo's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when she doesn't).

When it comes to explaining why Plattsmouth lost, don't look at Averi Winters. Despite the final result, she had nine points and four steals. Winters is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Mila Wehrbein was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Wahoo is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Plattsmouth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Wahoo will face off against Palmyra at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plattsmouth, they will be playing at home against Ralston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plattsmouth is facing Ralston at the right time seeing as Ralston is stuck on a 19-game losing streak.
