Volleyball Game Preview: Barr-Reeve Vikings vs. Benton Central Bison

After both having extra time off, the Barr-Reeve Vikings and the Benton Central Bison will shake off the rust and duke it out at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Barr-Reeve comes in on six and Benton Central on 14.

Barr-Reeve is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Triton Central as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Hallie Knepp had a dynamite game, getting 30 assists and nine digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last 25 games she's played. Lora Graber was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Benton Central made easy work of South Adams on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Benton Central's win came from a few key players Barr-Reeve will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bella Widmer, who had 18 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Minniear, who had 27 assists and five digs.

Benton Central's win bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Barr-Reeve, their victory bumped their record up to 32-5.
