Ryder Richard gave up the fewest walks he has over his last four games on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with six or more strikeouts.

Richard's strong effort led Brandywine over Buchanan and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long.
