Volleyball Game Preview: Holy Trinity Tigers vs. Northtown Pumas + How To Watch

The Holy Trinity Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Northtown Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Holy Trinity came up short against Disney II and fell 2-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Northtown posted their closest victory since October 28, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Christ the King 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with the Gladiators: they've now won three in a row.

Northtown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-8.

Holy Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northtown, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Holy Trinity couldn't quite get it done against Northtown in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
