Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Comes Up Short

Shenandoah Valley lost against Marian Catholic back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils lost to Marian Catholic at home by a 59-43 margin. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Marian Catholic to victory were Jacob De La Cruz and Rocco Griguoli. De La Cruz went 6 of 15 on his way to 15 points and five steals, while Griguoli almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Tom, who posted five points in addition to eight assists and four steals.

Shenandoah Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Marian Catholic, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shenandoah Valley will host Upper Dauphin Area at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Marian Catholic, they will welcome Blue Mountain at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
