Having struggled with three losses in a row, Blaine turned things around against Meridian on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 11-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Borderites, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Shaylie Daniels and Mesa Puls were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Daniels didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Puls pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At bat, Daniels went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Puls went 1-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
